What is the History of Lenoir-Rhyne University?

Highland Academy was founded in 1891. In 1923, the college became Lenoir-Rhyne, after Daniel E. Rhyne, a Lincoln County industrialist. Five years later, the college was admitted into the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
